Knitting &
Crochet Club

Mondays, 7:00-8:45 p.m.

Tuesdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Come and share your love of knitting and crocheting and socialize with other hand crafters. All levels of experience are welcome - work on a current project or start a new one, and please bring your own supplies.

 

Monday's group meets on Level C and the Tuesday group meets in the Reference Room on Level D. No registration is necessary - just drop in!

Writers' Circle

 The Writers' Circle is a group for current and aspiring writers. Bring your fiction, non-fiction or ideas to share with the group.  It will meet on alternating Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Please check our calendar for dates.

Join us  to discuss and exchange ideas on cooking, nutrition and favorite recipes.

Participants are welcome to bring samples of food items to taste and share, and will talk about healthy, quick recipes for family and friends. We will have speakers on a variety of topics.  FREE to the public and no registration required.

Chess Club

Every Tuesday beginning May 14th at 7pm. 

 

Come and play chess, or learn how to play. Game boards will be available. No registration is necessary. 

Board Game
Club

Alternating Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Please check our calendar for dates.

Board games are more popular than ever, with the opportunity for an immersive, interesting experience or easy-to-learn and fun party games, and any other experience in between. The hardest part of playing is to find the time, with all of our busy schedules. That's where we come in! Join other adults and play some fun games. This program will be ongoing. Feel free to bring your own games if you feel comfortable teaching them to other players. Email Justin Portelli at justin.portelli@fairlawn.bccls.org with any questions, or to give him potential game ideas. Possible games could include Codenames, Dixit, Pandemic, Space Team, Sushi Go!, and more. No registration is required.

PINE GALLERY located on Level C.

Come join a fun, creative and stress free community of supportive artists. Enjoy drawing from a (clothed) model or still life.  A wonderful way to get your creative juices flowing in a relaxed environment. No experience necessary.  All ages welcome!  Registration not required. FREE to the public. Participants should bring their own paint and drawing supplies.
