MISSION STATEMENT
The goal of the Pine Gallery is to offer the community the educational opportunity to see and enjoy art by professional artists whose work represents the best of major currents in contemporary art. We exhibit museum caliber art to the community. The gallery brings works of many artists of national and international stature, as well as providing a showcase for deserving local artists. The exhibits aim to reflect a variety of media, styles, cultural veiw points, and levels of artistic expressions. We also encourage appreciation and understanding of art to students and schools. We work closely with area schools and find that our exhibits are a great educational resource for students and adults with widely varying art backgrounds.
The Pine Gallery has exhibited many well-known, excellent artists in the past including Sir Jacob Epstein, James Kearns, Alice Neel, Raphael Soyer, Richard Anuszkiewicz and Ilya Bolotowsky, Dorothy Gillespie and Alexander Calder and many New Jersey and metropolitan area artists.
